Data leak monitoring and brand protection
Threats can emerge outside your infrastructure, through exposed credentials or websites impersonating your brand. We help distinguish credible signals and turn them into appropriate protective action.
Service scope
Data leak and brand monitoring
Digital Risk Protection covers agreed, accessible sources of information about leaks and abuse involving your organisation. We verify whether findings match, whether data is current and the possible consequences for accounts, employees and customers. We distinguish signal detection, confirmation and actions that depend on external operators.
Credentials
We verify reports of exposed identifiers and credentials associated with agreed organisational domains.
Brand impersonation
We analyse designated signals involving similar domains, phishing websites and unauthorised use of your corporate identity.
Assessing signal relevance
We establish the connection to your organisation, the available evidence and whether an account or service owner needs to be involved.
Protective actions
We prepare recommendations, initiate approved procedures and support abuse reports to the appropriate operator or provider.
Project deliverables
What will your team receive?
- Register of monitored domains, brands and agreed sources.
- Descriptions of confirmed signals, with evidence and limitations.
- Action priorities for administrators and process owners.
- Materials supporting an abuse report.
Delivery conditions
What do we agree before starting?
- List of domains, brand names and identifiers to monitor.
- Contacts responsible for accounts, the brand and abuse handling.
- Agreed rules for access to sensitive findings and response.
How we work
From understanding the need to verifying the result.
Define what to monitor
We agree brands, domains, sources and criteria for considering a signal relevant.
Verify findings
We check matches and context, separating confirmed threats from ambiguous information.
Handle the threat
We provide recommendations and support agreed internal actions and reports to providers.
Clear responsibilities
What is already included, and what do we extend?
SOC uses threat information in routine analysis and performs authorised response. This extension adds dedicated monitoring for external leaks and brand abuse in defined sources; it does not replace identity protection or routine incident handling.
Before making a decision
Questions about data leak and brand monitoring
Does the service guarantee removal of a fake website?
We support preparation of the report and contact with the appropriate operator. The removal decision and timing depend on the organisation operating that service.
Does exposed data always indicate a current account compromise?
No. We assess how current the data is, its connection to the organisation and the available confirmation. Further verification and account protection follow agreed procedures.
Does monitoring cover every source of leaked data?
Coverage depends on source availability and the agreed service model. The report describes coverage and limitations; an absence of signals does not confirm that no leak has occurred.
