Identity and privileged account protection — Identity Security
Access security depends on who can perform an action and under what conditions. We help organise accounts, permissions and authentication controls, connecting their administration with SOC monitoring.
Service scope
Identity protection
Identity Security covers users, administrators and technical identities used by applications or automation. We analyse access granting rules, configure agreed controls and correct verified issues. SOC provides the context of suspicious sign-ins and misuse, while S&VM performs agreed configuration work.
Account and permission reviews
We review access scope, account ownership and cases of excessive or unjustified permissions.
Authentication and access policies
We configure agreed authentication controls and access conditions, accounting for technological capabilities and user impact.
Privileged accounts
We help implement and maintain administrative access management, including appropriate roles, approvals and activity logging.
Technical identities
We organise accounts used by services and integrations, defining owners, dependencies and change management rules.
Project deliverables
What will your team receive?
- Identity and permission review findings.
- Agreed plan to restrict inappropriate access.
- Configuration of selected protective controls and change records.
- Review procedures and coordination with SOC.
Delivery conditions
What do we agree before starting?
- Access to the designated identity systems and their configurations.
- Business owners who approve access requirements.
- Agreed change windows and exception handling arrangements.
How we work
From understanding the need to verifying the result.
Understand the access model
We identify systems, roles, special accounts and responsibility for approving changes.
Implement controls
We configure agreed policies and adjust permissions while accounting for service dependencies.
Verify and maintain
We verify access operation, event availability to SOC and arrangements for subsequent reviews.
Clear responsibilities
What is already included, and what do we extend?
Authorised access blocking or session revocation under a playbook is part of core SOC response. Broader identity administration, implementation of new controls and permission remediation projects are extensions.
Before making a decision
Questions about identity security
Does the service also cover application accounts?
Yes, if they are included in the scope. Changes to technical identities require identification of dependent services and agreement on how to verify their operation.
Who approves permission removal?
The owner designated in the access management process. Urgent security response follows previously authorised playbooks and the agreed escalation path.
Is a new PAM solution required?
We do not assume that automatically. The scope depends on needs, existing tools and implementation feasibility; any licences are specified separately.
