Security Awareness: training and phishing simulations

Employees need a straightforward way to recognise threats and get help. We build awareness programmes that practise these behaviours and allow progress to be measured.

Service scope

Training and phishing simulations

Security Awareness combines education with daily practice: email handling, access protection, file sharing and reporting suspicious situations. Topics follow participants’ responsibilities, with different needs for finance, leadership, administrators and new employees. Agreed simulations improve the programme and response process. We also check whether reports reach the right person and whether employees receive clear feedback.

Training needs assessment

We review audience groups, previous incidents and procedures, agreeing objectives, data scope, communication and programme metrics.

Role-based training

We prepare short modules using everyday examples. Participants practise verifying unusual requests, sharing data safely and responding to suspected incidents.

Controlled simulations

We agree phishing scenarios, recipients and delivery rules. We do not collect real passwords and define the minimum data needed to assess the exercise.

Measuring behaviour and reporting

We assess test interactions, correct reporting and subsequent handling, interpreting results in light of scenario difficulty to avoid misleading campaign comparisons.

Project deliverables

What will your team receive?

  • An educational programme and materials for specified groups.
  • Simulation scenarios and delivery rules.
  • A results report with recommendations for follow-up.
  • Improvements to suspicious-event reporting instructions.

Delivery conditions

What do we agree before starting?

  • A programme owner and agreed participant groups.
  • Approved communication, data protection and reporting rules.
  • An available reporting channel and cooperation from email administrators.

How we work

From understanding the need to verifying the result.

We define the objective

We select behaviours to practise, participant groups and measurement methods, agreeing privacy safeguards.

We teach and practise

We deliver modules and approved simulations while testing the report-handling process.

We improve the programme

We discuss results with the programme owner and agree subsequent educational and organisational actions.

Clear responsibilities

What is already included, and what do we extend?

The training and campaign programme is a separate GRC service. Standard SOC incident communication and Enterprise operational reviews remain part of the applicable core plan.

Before making a decision

Questions about training and phishing simulations

Is click count alone sufficient for assessment?

No. We also consider reports, scenario type and the organisation’s response. Together, these reveal the needs of participants and report handlers.

Does every employee receive the same training?

Shared principles are supplemented with role-specific examples. A payment approver needs different exercises from an infrastructure administrator.

How are individual results handled?

Access, retention and reporting detail are agreed beforehand. We recommend using results to support learning and process improvement.

The next step

Let us define a scope that makes sense for your organisation.

Let us discuss your environment, priorities and team responsibilities. We will use this to define the work, required access and service conditions.
