Technical knowledge needs practical experience
At VigilHorizon, effective cybersecurity combines technical knowledge, practical experience and continuous analysis of real threats. Our publications draw on current standards and vendor documentation, as well as specialists’ experience with IT infrastructure and organisational security.
Our editorial principles
Knowledge centre and blog content explains technical topics and service scopes. The byline identifies the person assigned to a publication. It does not automatically mean that the entire material has undergone independent technical or legal review.
1. Research and source analysis
Source selection should consider vendor documentation, relevant standards and publications by the institutions responsible for the subject. Operational examples must be clearly distinguished from documented client engagements.
2. Defining the approach
We define the article’s scope, audience and key questions. Content should be accurate, practical and clear for those responsible for security and IT infrastructure.
3. Developing the content
The text should explain the problem, possible actions and the conditions and limitations of their use. Service descriptions must remain consistent with the agreed scope, without promises of universal effectiveness.
4. Scope of review
An expert review may be recorded on an individual publication after it has taken place, identifying the person or role, date and scope. Describing an editorial process does not confirm that every publication has received that review.
Regulatory content requires the relevant jurisdiction, entity type and current legislation to be established. A guide does not replace individual legal assessment or confirm an organisation’s compliance.
5. Publication
After editing, the content is published in the VigilHorizon Knowledge Centre or blog with information about the responsible author and in accordance with our editorial process.
6. Updates
Changes to legislation, documentation or service scope may require a publication to be updated. The date and description of an actual change help readers understand its scope; they do not confirm that the entire publication has been reviewed again.

Our responsibility
Our publications are educational and informational. Although we work to keep them aligned with current knowledge and law, they do not replace an individual technical assessment, security audit or legal advice tailored to a particular organisation.

Why do we do this?
We aim to build one of Poland’s most reliable resources on cybersecurity, security monitoring, SOC, NOC and NIS2 requirements. Responsible publishing should draw on practitioners’ experience and expert review.

Publication principles
We identify relevant primary sources where they are needed to check technical and regulatory claims. A content or link update is distinguished from the publication date and any expert review. Educational scenarios are labelled as illustrations, not client engagement results.
