Security engineering · Specialist service
On-site engineering support at agreed locations
Some tasks cannot be completed remotely, even when the problem is already understood. We provide agreed on-site specialist support, connecting field work with the information available to SOC/NOC.
Service scope
On-site engineering support
The service covers designated tasks during outages, upgrades and other operations requiring physical presence. We can assist with diagnostics, equipment replacement and configuration, and coordination with local teams and suppliers. Scope, location, arrival time and access arrangements are agreed before delivery.
Visit preparation
We agree the location, objective, required skills, site access and organisational conditions needed to complete the task.
On-site diagnostics
We check designated devices and connections using information from the local team and monitoring systems.
Technical work
We perform agreed equipment replacement, connection or configuration tasks within available resources and permissions.
Coordination and verification
We work with the client and suppliers and confirm service status with SOC/NOC after the work is complete.
Project deliverables
What will your team receive?
- Visit plan with access requirements and scope of work.
- Record of completed tasks and key findings.
- Results of checks on designated devices and services.
- List of unresolved issues and recommended next steps.
Delivery conditions
What do we agree before starting?
- Confirmed site access and a contact person.
- Availability of required parts, tools and permissions agreed before work begins.
- Agreed scope, timing and acceptance arrangements.
How we work
From understanding the need to verifying the result.
Qualify the task
We confirm the need for a physical presence, location, scope and organisational arrangements for the visit.
Perform on-site work
We carry out agreed tasks, discussing the environment’s status with the local team and SOC/NOC.
Acceptance and documentation
We check the results, deliver the work record and identify tasks requiring further action.
Clear responsibilities
What is already included, and what do we extend?
Routine remote outage handling in NOC and security incident handling in SOC remain part of their respective plans. This extension covers agreed on-site presence and work; it does not imply automatic field support availability at every location or provision of equipment.
Before making a decision
Questions about on-site engineering support
Will a specialist arrive immediately after an outage is reported?
The timing and conditions for field work depend on prior agreements, location and availability of appropriate resources. We do not assume a universal travel time.
Does the engineer bring spare parts?
Equipment and parts provision requires a separate agreement. Before the visit, we confirm who supplies the materials needed for the task.
Can support be arranged for a planned upgrade?
Yes. We agree the schedule, task list, supplier coordination and acceptance criteria in advance so the visit supports a specific project stage.
