The first 60 minutes of a cyberattack — what really happens and why every minute matters
The first hour of an attack often determines its impact. We walk through how an incident unfolds and explain why a rapid response is essential to limiting damage.

What happens after a Microsoft 365 account is compromised? An attack scenario
An employee receives a message asking them to sign in to Microsoft 365 again. The page looks familiar, so they enter their username and password and approve an MFA request. A few minutes later, a cybercriminal signs in to their account. The user continues receiving email and working as usual. For the attacker, however, this is only the beginning.

Why most security alerts are never analysed
Modern tools can detect an increasing number of deviations. That does not mean an organisation can understand and handle each one. An alert is only a hypothesis requiring verification. Without an owner, priority, context and response path, even a correctly generated warning can remain another unopened entry in a console.

A cyberattack starts earlier than you think: the first signs nobody notices
The first signs of a cyberattack may have appeared much earlier: an unusual sign-in, a new device, increased activity from one account, access to additional resources or a permission change. Each signal may have seemed harmless on its own. Connecting them into a sequence could have revealed the developing incident.

How does an Incident Response team stop a cyberattack, step by step?
It is 02:17. EDR detects an unusual process launch on a user’s workstation, and SIEM links it to a corporate cloud sign-in from a new location. Email works, servers respond and employees are asleep. From a business perspective, nothing has happened yet. For the security team, a race against time has just begun.

Inside a modern 24/7 SOC: how a security operations centre works
What does a modern security operations centre do? We show how a 24/7 SOC detects threats, analyses incidents and coordinates response before a cyberattack affects business operations.

Why did SIEM fail to detect ransomware? Common causes and organisational mistakes
A SIEM system can analyse millions of events and still fail to stop ransomware. We explain why technology alone is not enough and which mistakes most often delay attack detection.

Would your company detect ransomware before its servers were encrypted? Find out
Would your organisation detect ransomware before attackers encrypted its servers? Discover which monitoring and response capabilities determine effective protection against cyberattacks.

A day in the life of a SOC analyst: inside 24/7 security monitoring
What does a routine SOC analyst shift look like? We follow the path from the first alert through analysis and escalation to incident response in a security operations centre.

Lateral Movement — the attack stage most companies never notice
A cyberattack rarely ends with the first compromised computer. We explain lateral movement and why this is often the stage at which organisations lose control of their entire network.
